Look for the area designated for first-time families. We’ll meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room. We’ll ask for your family’s contact information and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

After your first visit, you may check in your child at any available station. After finding your family’s listing, you and your child will print matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and visit. After the service, you’ll return to your child’s classroom and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

On your way out the door, be sure to pick up a Big Picture Card. It highlights the main point for today’s Bible story, gives you the memory verse and “Big Picture” question we’re memorizing with the kids during our Sunday classes. As you drive home, ask your child, “What did you learn about Jesus in today’s story?” It's our goal that every child can answer this question every week!

A nursing mother’s room is available at the back of the balcony for mothers with babies twelve weeks old and under. An audio feed and private view of the service is available at every service time. This is a “Moms Only” room for women with newborn babies to view the service in a private and quiet environment.

Our desire is to welcome in every child with special needs – showing them Jesus, including them in activities with their peers, and creating a space where they experience belonging and growth in relationships. For children who need one-to-one care, we offer a Special Needs Buddy program. In this program, we work to pair your child with a loving, trained volunteer who will attend a typical Sojourn Kids classroom with them. The buddy builds a relationship with your child as they assist them in participating in classroom activities and interacting with their peers.
