What is GroupLink?
Wouldn't it be great to have relationships where you can just be yourself? How would like change if you had friends who you can be honest with about your stresses, fears, worries, and struggles?
GroupLink is an introduction to community; it’s an investment into a group where those types of
relationships can begin.
Each week you’ll watch and discuss a short video while getting to know the rest of the group.
Everyone in your group will be in the same spot: new to the group, a little weird, and wanting to grow in their faith.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens at GroupLink?
Everyone will start in an initial connection group--other people from a similar area of the city and with similar
schedule needs. When you arrive, your first step is to meet the people at your initial connection point and decide
if this group is a good start. If the logistics of this group work for you, great. If it’s not a good fit,
volunteers will help you find a different group. During the 8 weeks, groups will watch a short video on the
role of community in the Christian life and then discuss the video together.
Will the people in my group be weird?
Yep, because you’re in the group and you’re a little weird!.
Where will groups meet?
During the first 3 weeks, groups will meet at Sojourn. During the final 3 weeks, each group will
choose when and where to meet–most likely in the home of a group member.
What if I cannot make it all 6 weeks?
That’s ok! Community groups are about intentionally prioritizing relationships, but we know life is still busy.
What happens at the end of the 6 weeks?
After the 6 weeks, each person and group will decide if they want to continue
gathering and what those gatherings will look like. Most groups will continue gathering in order
to deepen relationships and grow in Christ together.
