Have questions? Watch our FAQ video for more information on what to do (or not to do!) to prepare.

Are you bringing children? Hear from Pastor Trey and Maggie on how you can best prepare for the service. Watch here

Outdoor Service FAQs

In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, please stay home if you exhibit any of the following symptoms:
  • you have an elevated temperature (100.5 degrees Fahrenheit or above)
  • you exhibit signs of illness (coughing, shortness of breath, sneezing)
  • you have had close contact with a person who has symptoms like dry cough, chest tightness, and/or fever.

How will we be practicing social distancing?
To ensure social distancing during the service, we will have designated areas marked on the field for each household or individual to sit. Ushers will assist everyone in finding an area to sit.

Do I need to wear a mask?
We are asking all those who attend to keep their faces covered during the service, as a safety precaution for yourself and others. If you don’t have a mask, we will have a limited quantity available at the entrance. Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 5 or anyone who has trouble breathing, is incapacitated, or is otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.

What should I bring?
You are encouraged to bring chairs or a blanket to sit on, an umbrella, snacks, water, coffee or anything else you might need.

Will we share communion?
As a safety precaution, we will not be serving communion. However, we will have a time for communion and prayer. You are welcome to bring your own communion elements (bread, crackers, wine, juice etc.).

Will we sing?
Yes! We look forward to worshipping together! We ask that you keep your mask on for the entire service, as a safety precaution for others. The song list and lyrics will be available on the app for your convenience.

What if it rains?
If the service is canceled because of rain, we will post this information on our website and social media by 7 a.m. Sunday morning.

Will the service be online?
Yes! We will be live streaming the service from our Facebook page and our YouTube channel at 11am so you can worship at the same time as those attending in person. Afterwards, the recording of the service will be posted on our YouTube channel as usual for you to view at anytime.

What if I need to use the restroom?
The building will be closed, but portable restrooms will be available for use.

Will there be childcare?
No, we ask that families keep their children with them at all times. Feel free to bring toys, strollers, snacks or other items for your children. We will also have SojournKids packets available. You may also access these materials online.

I am part of the vulnerable/at risk population. Will there be special accommodations?
There will be limited car viewing available for those who are in the vulnerable/at risk population. Please let a parking attendant know when you arrive, and you will be guided to this lot.
