Sojourn Midtown Midtown,

As you know COVID-19 cases in KY and across the nation have been increasing at a significant pace. Gov. Beshear has responded with some new mandates this week and has encouraged (not mandated) that churches go back online. We have discussed many various responses but have come to the conclusion that it would be wise to take the next two weeks off (Nov. 22 & Nov. 29) of in-person gatherings. Although we are not fearful of the safety we provide on Sundays, we want to take these few weeks off to honor the governor's request and to communicate to those watching that we care for the health and safety of our city.

We recognize that some of you will love this decision, for others it won’t be enough, and some of you will disagree. We would humbly ask for your prayers and trust in this season as we live in the tension of valuing the gathering of God’s people and living as salt and light in this city.

We will be live streaming on Facebook and Youtube the next two Sundays at 11am and plan to start gathering in-person again on December 6, as we start our Advent series, “Wrapped in Flesh.” We love you and are praying that God will fill you with hope, peace, joy, and thanksgiving amidst a chaotic and ever-changing world.
