Frequently Asked Questions

In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy, please stay home if you exhibit any of the following symptoms:
  • you have an elevated temperature (100.5 degrees Fahrenheit or above)
  • you exhibit signs of illness (coughing, shortness of breath, sneezing)
  • you have had close contact with a person who has symptoms like dry cough, chest tightness, and/or fever.

How will we be practicing social distancing?
To ensure social distancing and not exceed our max capacity we have capped our capacity at less than 50%. When you arrive, ushers will assist you in finding an area to sit. You will be asked to leave space in between you and another family.

Why do I need to register?
In order to ensure social distancing, we need to be able to anticipate how many people will be coming to each of our gatherings. Registering helps us prepare to serve you to the best of our ability and keep everyone safe.

Do I need to wear a mask?
We are asking all those who attend to keep their faces covered during the service, as a safety precaution for yourself and others. If you don’t have a mask, we will have a limited quantity available at the entrance. Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 5 or anyone who has trouble breathing, is incapacitated, or is otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.

Will we share communion?
As a safety precaution, there will be pre-packaged communion available at the entrance.

Will we sing?
Yes! We look forward to worshipping together! We ask that you keep your mask on for the entire service, as a safety precaution for others.

Will the service be online?
Yes! We will be live streaming the service from our Facebook page and our YouTube channel at 9am so you can worship at the same time as those attending in person. Afterwards, the recording of the service will be posted on our YouTube channel and Facebook page as usual for you to view at anytime.

What if I need to use the restroom?
The restrooms in the back of the auditorium will be open to one person at a time and will be sanitized after each use.

Will there be childcare?
No, at this time we ask that families keep their children with them at all times. We will have Sojourn Kids packets available. The Cry Room will be designated for nursing moms and if you need to use the changing station.  A Wiggle and Giggle room will be located in the back of the auditorium for parents to take children when needed.

What To Expect

  1. Please enter through the main entrance. All other doors will be locked. Please stay in your cars until 20 minutes before each service to allow time to safely dismiss the previous service and sanitize the auditorium before opening the doors.

  2. Stop by the welcome tent, located at the main entrance, on your way in the building. This is where you will check in. Communion, mask, and Sojourn Kids packets are available at the entrance.

  3. Once you are in the building our usher team will greet you and direct you to your seat. You will be asked to leave space between you and the next family. Minimize mingling by staying in your seat once you arrive in the auditorium.

  4. In lieu of handouts, our bulletin will be on our Sojourn app and giving online will be encouraged. Donation boxes will also be available near the auditorium doors for your convenience.

  5. There will be a wiggle and giggle room available for parents and children. This room is located in the back of the auditorium. Please practice social distancing, including your children. The cry room will be open for nursing mothers and if you need to use the changing station.

  6. If possible, please do not leave before the service is over and follow verbal instructions given by a staff member or usher. We will dismiss through the back and side doors of the auditorium.
