Sojourn Kids

Birth to 5th Grade

At Sojourn Kids, we want to show Jesus to your kids so they grow up to be like him and then go out to tell others about him. Every Sunday, all children (babies through grade 5) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.

We would love to see you and your family visit Sojourn Kids at Sojourn Church Midtown this Sunday. Join the fun and experience a world where kids learn the truth about Jesus in a way they enjoy and understand!

Sojourn Students

6th to 12th Grade

S2 is our student ministry for middle school and high school students. It exists to create relationships with students and families to reach them with the Gospel, build students to be like Christ, and release them to tell others about the Gospel.

We believe that only the good news of Jesus Christ can change students, families, neighborhoods, and schools. As we minister to students and families, we are inviting your family into the church family of Sojourn. We never want S2 to replace Sunday services, but provide a safe, student relevant environment, focused on growing them in Jesus to be the church.

Sojourn College

Sojourn College is the college ministry of Sojourn Church Midtown. Sojourn College is an intentional effort to take our church’s mission to college campuses in the Louisville metro area.

We have three primary goals: to reach students with the gospel, to build them up in the local church, and to send them into the world. We accomplish this primarily through weekly community groups on or near college campuses, discipleship, a monthly large group called SC Gathered, and integrating our students into the life of Sojourn Church.

Women

Sojourn Women is designed to provide opportunities for all women to connect and grow together as followers of Christ. Specifically, we want to:

Equip women with the resources to study, enjoy, and apply God's word to their lives.

Encourage women to faithfully follow Christ through intentional relationships, gatherings, and discipleship.

Empower women to use their God-given gifts in the church, home, work, and community.

We share life together and use our gifts to build up the church. Check out our upcoming opportunities.

Mercy

Our Mercy ministry exists to equip the church to show and share the love of Jesus to our neighbors with our words and through our good deeds. Our desire is to train God’s people to use their gifts – whatever they may be – to serve others and reach people with the gospel wherever they live, work, and recreate. The Mercy team leads many renewal efforts each year in the neighborhoods surrounding Sojourn Church Midtown, like our after-school tutoring, Fall Festival, Medical Clinics, Affordable Christmas, neighborhood prayer walks, adoption and foster care initiatives, and more.

Church Planting

Our church planting ministry exists to plant and multiply gospel-centered, multi-cultural churches in least-reached urban neighborhoods around the country. We do this through investing in our own key leaders and staff over several years with the end goal of sending them out to plant a new church in a gospel needy area. We currently have church plants in Pittsburg, PA, Oakland, CA, and Birmingham, AL. We also partner with Sojourn Network to plant churches and support church planting pastors in other places around the country.
