Community Groups

We gather together to learn how to love God and love one another. Groups are the primary entry point into community within Sojourn and represent the church on a personal level. We have groups that meet across the city most nights of the week.

What Should I Expect?

Our community groups typically consist of 10-15 adults who meet in a home once a week for a couple of hours to discuss the Bible, pray, eat, laugh, and live. During the current pandemic, our groups are meeting through Zoom calls in their individual homes. You do not have to be a member of Sojourn Church to be a part of a community group. All are welcome to join these Zoom calls and attend a group in-person once we resume gathering in homes.

How Do I Join A Community Group?

We have over 20 community groups at Sojourn J-Town. You can find a group that normally meets close to where you live by filling out the Group Finder. Simply fill in your address, and check the list to find a convenient group near your home address on a day and time this works best for you and/or your family. When you register, the group leader will be alerted and will contact you with the details for their next Zoom call. If you have additional questions about community groups, email us at jtown@sojournchurch.com.
