We're moving back inside!
We're excited to be gathering inside our beautiful building once again. Please thoroughly read through the following protocols that we will be implementing as a church. These protocols are to ensure the health and safety of all who participate in our gathering.
Entering the Building
Those in attendance must keep their faces covered while inside the church building, as a safety precaution for yourself and others. If you don’t have a mask, we will have a limited quantity available at the entrance. Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 5 or anyone who has trouble breathing, is incapacitated, or is otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
Upon entrance, your temperature will be taken by a Connect volunteer. If you have a temperature of 100.5 or above, we will ask you to head home and join us via the live stream.
After getting your temperature checked, you’ll be asked to sanitize your hands. Hand sanitizer will also be available throughout the facility for your use as needed.
When entering the facility, we will be doing our best to keep track of those who are present. In the event of a confirmed COVID-19 case having been present at a Sunday Gathering, we will contact those who were present that Sunday. Because of this, if you're newer to our congregation, we may ask you for basic contact information as you enter the facility.
No Sojourn Kids
At this time, we will not be having Sojourn Kids. Children are welcomed to join us for worship inside. We will continue to have age-appropriate materials available for children to use.
Entering the Sanctuary
Every other pew will be available. Tape will be placed every two feet on the top of the pews to help you maintain proper social distancing while seated. Those who may be need to exit the sanctuary during the service to sit on the outside aisles.
Individually wrapped communion elements will be available in the pew backs. You can throw your communion cups away as you exit the building.
Giving plates will be set up outside the sanctuary doors on your way in. There will also be giving plates available in the back of the sanctuary as you exit the building. You can also give online here on our website.
Exiting the Building
Exit Out of Taylor Blvd. Doors
At the end of the service, we will dismiss the sanctuary by sections. All those who are physically able to do so, will be asked to exit the doors facing Taylor Blvd. Those who need to use the elevator will be asked to remain seated until the other sections have been dismissed.
