Arts And Culture Residency

Imagine dedicating a summer – or a whole year – to developing as an artist while living in Christian community and serving your neighbors.

In partnership with Love Thy Neighborhood, Sojourn Arts & Culture is offering up to six young adults (ages 18-30) exactly this kind of experience. Art projects and budgets will be determined by the areas of expertise and medium of each artist.

Artists will be given plenty of time to work on their own art while also being given assignments as a team in service to nonprofits, neighborhoods, the church, and your neighbors. Service projects may include beautification, art therapy, murals, gallery exhibits, and more. (Portfolio submission is required for this team.) In addition to visual arts there are also opportunities to serve with graphic design, filmmaking, podcast/audio production, and more.

Our friends and ministry partner Love Thy Neighborhood is a team-based, full-time, urban missions program for young adults ages 18-30. Team Members live in an urban community for a summer or a year while serving alongside a Christ-centered nonprofit. We have slots remaining to serve with Sojourn Arts & Culture for both this summer and the coming year.

We really want to fill these slots so please pass the word around about this great opportunity. Visit lovethyneighborhood.org to learn more!
