Homosexuality Track Session B (Counseling & The Church Conference)

Taught August 26, 2009 at The 930 Art Center.  This session led by Pastor Mike Wilkerson of Mars Hill Church (WA).

Is the church qualified to address the unique struggles of one who feels plagued by unwanted same sex attraction, or one leaving a lifestyle of homosexuality? Beyond broad assurances of forgiveness and salvation, does the gospel offer any specific hope to transform men and women’s hearts, even to the level of sexual desires and habits? And if it does, who is qualified to deliver that hope-giving message?

In this track, we’ll look at how those facing such struggles receive gospel-centered counseling and experience transformation within the local church community of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, WA.
