Responsibilities:

I am the Executive Assistant to the Lead Pastor. My responsibilities are pretty fluid, but some of the staples include maintaining his calendar, library and files.

Family:

My parents live in Lexington, KY. My sister and her husband live in Nashville, TN. I’m just waiting the announcement of the first niece/nephew from down that way.

Hometown:

I grew up in Lexington, KY.

Education & Experience:

I have a B.A. in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from Transylvania University.

Vision for your position:

I want to see Daniel more and more free to be a caring pastor for a growing church through my work to line up all the logistical ducks and get them marching in step with each other. And I want to learn and be challenged to grow in my own relationship to Christ.

What brought you to Sojourn?

I came to Sojourn at the recommendation of Lindsay Eubanks via my sister. The music brought me back a second and third and fourth time (that and the freedom to wear t-shirts). The teaching led me to commit to the body. And then I made some great friends and now it’s home.

Favorite movie/ TV show:

Top 5 films: High Fidelity, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, The Departed, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, Mars Attacks!

Favorite music/ band:

The big 3: Pearl Jam, Wilco, Radiohead

Favorite book other than the Bible:

The Ground Beneath Her Feet by Salman Rushdie

Hobbies/interests:

I enjoy making music, I’m being shepherded into mountain biking and I’m kind of a compulsive storyteller, so occasionally I write.
