Responsibilities:

I am the pastor of Mercy Ministry. My responsibilities include benevolence and Seed.

Family:

My wife and I got married in December 2007. We had Katherine, our first child, in 2009.

Hometown:

I grew up in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.

Education & Experience:

I have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University. I also have entrepreneurial experience in the field of mergers and acquisitions. I do attend Seminary classes from time to time.

Vision for your position:

Seed’s vision is to serve neighbors and to establish lasting relationships through which Christ may rebuild, renew, and restore Louisville’s people, in turn impacting its culture and structures, resulting in a safer and more Kingdom-reflecting city.

What brought you to Sojourn?

The strong commitment to live out the gospel in all its fullness.

Favorite movie/ TV show:

My wife and I are enjoying the Deadliest Catch these days.

Favorite music/ band:

I’m a trance junkie. I listen to Paul Van Dyk a good bit.

Favorite book other than the Bible:

Pilgrim’s Progress [by John Bunyan] is a good one. I highly recommend it.

Hobbies/interests:

I used to spin records in the club scene in Atlanta. I still enjoy spinning tunes and throwing parties from time to time.
