Two years at the University of Louisville studying English/Creative Writing. Quit school to get married and play music professionally. Recorded albums for four different labels.

Vision for your position:

To shepherd Sojourn’s East campus and to expand the borders of Sojourn Music.

What brought you to Sojourn?

After spending most of my life in a church that taught musical instruments had no place in corporate church worship, my wife and I left after disagreeing with many other traditional stances the church took. Following a period of being ostracized by family and searching for a new church home, a friend invited us to Sojourn in 2005. By 2006 we were members and leading a community group. Mike Cosper hired me on as his pastoral assistant in 2008 and the journey continues ...

The Proposition, Rushmore / Arrested Development

Favorite music/ band:

Tom Waits, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Radiohead and so much more!

Favorite book other than the Bible:

Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy; Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Hobbies/interests:

NHL hockey, film, theatre, indie music and anything with skulls printed on it.
