Family:

I was married to my beautiful wife Terra on September 9th, 2006. We were blessed with a honeymoon baby, Hannah (May ‘07). Most recently, we’ve enjoyed the addition of our son Benjamin (April ’09). We are truly blessed!

I grew up in Crestview, FL but have lived in Louisville since 2000.

Education & Experience:

B.A., Florida Baptist College, 1999; M.Div. Southern Baptist Theological Seminary 2002. I served as the preaching pastor of a church plant in St. Matthews for about 3 ½ years prior to coming to Sojourn. I’m the team leader of Media and Electronics at Meijer. I also serve part time as a chaplain for Marketplace Ministries.

Vision for your position:

To serve individuals by helping them love Christ and others. To help people love God’s Word and pray fervently. To draw near to those who are fainthearted and weak and point them to Christ.

What brought you to Sojourn?

After sensing the Lord’s leading to step down from my pastorate, we were invited to attend Sojourn by our family friend, Robert Cheong. We were immediately drawn to the community and have enjoyed getting involved with the counseling ministries in particular.

Lord of the Rings, To End All Wars, 24-Jack Bauer

Favorite music/ band:

R&B, Jazz, Gospel

Favorite book other than the Bible:
