Amanda Edmondson
Responsibilities:
I am the Executive Assistant to the Lead Pastor. My responsibilities include scheduling, maintaining calendars, organization, filing, managing projects, and assisting wherever needed.
Family:
My parents, who reside in Marion, Il. Then I have two older brothers who are both married each have two children and live in Helena, AL and Tyler, TX.

Marion, IL.
Education & Experience:
I graduated from Murray State University in 2004 with a B.S. in Organizational Communication and Minor in Youth & Non-Profit Leadership. I previously worked for AT&T since 2007 in management, prior to that I worked for a small marketing firm here in Louisville.
Vision for your position:
To use what the Lord has given me and taught me to make more of Him and glorify Him through my work on staff. Also to serve our Sojourn staff and elders so that they are better able to labor where the Lord has placed them. To see the Lord magnified in Sojourn, through this body, this city and the world.
What brought you to Sojourn?
My roommate was already going to Sojourn when the pastor and his family were leaving the church I was attending to go serve in another city they advised me to go to Sojourn. I had previously visited with my roommate several times because I really appreciated the teaching. At that time working 60 plus hours a week I knew I needed to be involved at a church where I would weekly be fed from the word and leave craving to know the Lord more and where they had a vision to impact the city of Louisville for the glory of God. I found that at Sojourn along with Christ-centered worship, community, fellowship, and need for people to serve.
Favorite movies/ TV shows:
Movie: Top 5: Chariots of Fire, Sense & Sensibility, My Fair Lady, Elf, and The Count of Monte Cristo.
TV show: Gilmore Girls and Lost.
Favorite music/ band:
I really like a wide variety of music that changes from day to day but I have consistently liked these groups: Madeleine Peyroux, Adele, Eric Hutchinson, JJ Heller, Red Mountain Church, Juanes, Indelible Grace, Shane & Shane, Abba, & Billy Joel.
Favorite book other than the Bible:
The Enemy Within, The God You Can Know, and Pride & Prejudice.
Hobbies/interests:
Hiking, baking, travel, reading, tennis, volleyball, board games, and card games.
